There's nothing for you to do except get ready for bed, lie down on your back (in savasana) and let yourself surrender to the moment.
It's a simple and easy self care treat you can do night, after night, after night. And let me tell you, I still use these night time meditations now - they never get old.
I first discovered bedtime meditations when I was going through a very heart wrenching breakup. I was finding it hard to drift off to sleep when I was feeling so much pain and sadness.
I use to listen to the same track over and over again to help me get off to sleep. I still use it today. When I'm suffering from anxiety or have been too wired to sleep.
I have now created my own 30 minute guided bedtime meditation to help those who struggle to switch off their minds before going to sleep. My guided meditation helps you to draw awareness back to the body with gentle visualisations and relaxation cues.
